Hey guys, I just went to Empire last night/this morning and it was really great! It totally brought back memories of Utopia.
The terrace is still there, but the whole interior is rediesigned,
a huge main room, with a mezzanine above along the sides and back.
(not the type of feel of those "new" claustrophobic, pushy clubs like Tao (which we didn't like, except for the eye candy and half naked girls posing on the wall) and Body English.
Overall the people were cool...a lot of locals, plenty of space to dance, good sounsystem, and good music. (It was a mix of trance/house). I left at 8am, but I am not sure when closed.
If Markus plays here, and I am in town, I will for sure be there. I think this is now my favorite spot now along with the Pure Terrace! |

aah it was prolly faarsheed playing there. He rocks out whereever he is. |

Got there at 5, not sure who it was, but it wasn't Faarsheed (maybe he played earlier in the night). I saw Faarsheed earlier that night at Ice, opened up for CL (by the way, CL rocked...I still can't figure out why sometimes he is so on, and sometimes he so off.) I didn't see any TAs at Ice :( |

I forget what happened sat but I didn't go for some lil reason. and I think he was spinning there. at least thasts what his info said on some sites. |

ahhh... Utopia... I rememeber that was one of the first trance style club I had ever been to.. They had the oxygen bar in there too.. Crazy... |
