I couldn't agree with you more. The beginning seemed cool with the whole training and branding and beating and ...I loved it. I was expecting SO MUCH MORE from Jamie Foxx; I thought, "Dayum, an Oscar winner up in dis shizzle" and he effin TANKED.
I have to admit, Jake's acting was top notch; when he flipped out and wanted to shoot that pansy in his unit, the rage on his face was awesome! :whip: But the ending sucked such massive hairy donkey balls that I felt I wasted my whole evening. I really was pissed at the ending. HTF did that other sniper dude die? What a totally random thing.
On the part where they saw the tape (the part you nuccas thought was the funniest part of the movie) I was totally gutted. I've been in a long distance relationship for 6 years and everytime I imagine there could be another guy, I feel like vomiting...seeing how that poor husband reacted brought back those feelings right away :( For me, that was still the best part of the movie, because it was so real.
While I'm on the subject of my weaknesses and insecurities, I'll add that I'm the kind of guy that has to hear his girl promise that if we were ever in a situation like Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt in Cast Away, that she's NEVER be with another man (except Vivid Boy) until she sees my dead body. :wtf: |

You shouldn't get ppl to make promises that are virtually impossible to keep (as we saw in the movie). That is a sign of weakness. Isn't trust and loyalty enough? |

But that couple didn't see a movie like Cast Away, so they didn't make a specific promise about that situation!!! Now if she wants to have a few flings here and there (ergo Vivid Boy) and not tell me about it, that's one thing...but I want to be the only man of your life, dammit!!!! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:
