It was unique in a sense that in the first 10 minutes he sampled key parts of episode 4 and basically did a plot summery over the music, but all in all, the actual mix itself wasn't the greatest. It's more of a 'novelty mix' for the release of episode 3 IMO.
As for the Desyn at Nikki Beach mix, they'll never give out essential mix of the year to a show where the DJ plays less than the 2 alotted hours. Besides, that mix pales in comparision to the one he did the previous year that should have won [IMO]
Listened to Pendulum's again last night. Quality drum and bass, it might actually be my first choice, but I don't think it'll win by virtue that it is drum and bass. |
