this is 50/50 its going to be either good or bad
| quote: | The movie's title is somewhat ambiguous. Some have suggested that it comes from Pax Syriana, as an allusion to the necessary state of peace between Syria and the U.S. as it relates to the oil business. In a December 2005 interview, Baer told NPR that he believes the title may refer to think tank strategic studies for the creation of an artificial state that would ensure continued U.S. access to crude oil.

Hmmm....plot involves evil Western corporations, peak oil theory, all the oil in the whole world in Middle East (of course!) and supported by none other than left-wing F.A.G. members Clooney and Damon.
With a strong, willing, suspension of disbelieve for 2 hrs, I might give it a shot, however Hollywood is never that accuate with world history...
I mean come on, they have to Hollywood-ize to make it 'sensational' and sell tickets! To hell with accuracy!
If you want accuracy, watch, "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room"...THAT movie was a great documentary AND it's true... ;) |

There are exceptions of course :p
It almost seems the accuracy is inversely proportional to the budget... |

Actually i was being sarcastic (limitations of text)
Braveheart might be a lot of things but accurate im not sure i'd call it
now if you want a real accurate hollywood movie, check out Passion of the Christ... (again with the sarcasm) |
