You know TC has an interview pending with him? We tried to ask tough questions rather than the generic crap... stuff worth hearing. He's taking a fair time replying...

Paul van Dyk is the Bono of the dance industry :p

Jeez, he is no #1 for 1 week or something, and he is already suffering from the #1-desease. The guy plays records, but he talks like he is a peace maker or something.

Paul's always been like that, long before he became #1. Have you ever read the liner notes to TPOD? He was also very involved with "Rock the Vote" and loads of other political organizations. There was an article in DJ Mag (I think September, the one with the Zabiela/Meat Katie CD) that was about politics in the EDM community and PvD was the main DJ featured, as well as Adam Freeland and Ms. Dynamite, I think. (Here's the link, though it's on another website http://enjoyment.independent.co.uk/...ticle315951.ece)

This isn't new, it's just more out there now because everyone wants to interview him because of his recent DJ Mag ranking.

How dare he make donations of thousands of dollars to people who need it. How dare he...

Man get the outta here with your garbage. Trolling just to troll, you are a disgrace to this forum and the damn human race. Get a life.

I think it is good to see people do good with money. He seems totally humble about it. The interviewer is the one being a tool, and treating him like deity. I don't see why people can't have good intentions and be vocal about it. He's not flaunting it, he never brought it up anyway...
Try not to overanalyze it.

So much complaining all the time. It's a bit redundant.

Nice interview.

Spite! whahaha

His doing a lot of great stuff but his TPOD2 cd was really weak stuff. No offence PVD but you said you don't like to rush stuff, then what happened.

+1

Thank God it's not tiesto is all I have to say... Not really a huge fan of pvd myself, but at least he's someone with a mental capacity past the age of ten.

Well aware, yes. And at this point I wonder if the reply will come, rather than when.

all i can say is that not only does he do well in his passion but he is just from what i read what he says is that he is PURE PVD, like he is genuine. like he comes up with great sayings like "if you all ways stay true to yourself, you will actually never fail"

just things he says really captures me about his personality, plus his great music taste!

if you read closely to the way he answers questions you will understand why i think this.
