What's going on all?
Lately i've been interested in DJing as a new hobby (not too serious yet at least). However, I'm only 16 years old (not a lot of income) and I have no clue where to start, what to buy, how to use what I buy.
When I say i'm a beginner, i'm a beginner. Either way, I could really use some help from you guys, as I've been searching on the internet for DJing forums, but this seems like the most active site so I might as well post here. Although I love trance, I also like other music and would like to include it in my new endeavor, so to speak.
Someone please provide me with any direction you can (what to buy, websites, how hard it is to start).
Thanks!!:) |

It's not that hard, but you do need to let us know what your budget is.
If you have a look around at what's on the forum you can find some quite good info, if you have any questions you can always send me a PM.
cheers

Thanks to those who replied in a polite manner.
I'm guessing around $300 tops for right now. And I also think CD's would be the best way for me to go.
Oh- and i should probably add that i'm willing to purchase stuff gradually if 300 really isnt enough - i really dont have a clue how my budget compares to a beginner setup. |

| I'd suggest keep on saving up for 2 CDJ200s. As for a mixer, I'm not sure. |

| well 300 isnt much, but there is some stuff on ebay... get some numark tt200's ~ they are direct drive and 2 should cost ya under 300. you could prob find a turntable package with 2 tt200's, mixer, cartdridges, and headphones for 300 on any site that sells dj equipment. djdeals.com is where i got my stuff from |
