Its really ridiculous that there has even been a ban put on certain people... pathetic actually.
(besides, it would be impossible to get that many sigs based on the attendance of their last 5 events.)
But Carrie, you rock anyway for trying to keep the peace. :) |

| It does sound ridiculous to have somebody "banned," but would you welcome somebody into your home if they kept insulting you there ? I wouldn't and most othere people probably feel the same. I presume Carrie is well intentioned and I like Kristina and even play the one promo CD I got from her a while back so I don't have a fight with any of them, not even clovis who seems like a decent guy the few times we messaged. I even respect that his taste in music is different, in fact it's good. But it's hard not to notice that Kristina had to throw an unecessary little jab in at Heaven's attendance. I was at a few of those events and they seemed pretty decent to me. You all know the promotion business isn't easy. It's not like anybody at that level is getting filthy rich doing it. |

Oh trust me, I know no one is getting rich doing it, especially not me.
It also doesnt help finances when Heaven owes me over $4500 for the sound system I bought for Heaven last year when we had no sound.
And of course I threw in a "jab", i've definitely bit my tongue for some time now.. but the jab was based on facts.
And Clovis wasnt banned from the Heaven "house" because of wrong that he did.
He was BANNED because he asked to get credit for his photography work several times, and when he finally got upset about it, instead of Heaven just fixing the situation and moving on, they felt it would be better to BAN, one of the most loyal Heaven followers that was around.
Halo, I do appreciate your positive attitude and I am glad that my lone mix somehow finds its way into your stereo still today.

I remember the picture situation, though my better judgement tells me to stay out of this 'cause I will readily admit I don't know everything, but as the saying goes there always more than one side to the story.
Ayway, I hope Kristina wasn't being sarcastic about the CD, becasue my wife and I do enjoy it, "Under the radar 4", not just for BT's the force of gravity but for a few other tracks. In fact anytime one of her sets pops on Digital TV Music Choice I listen to it.
As Phillipe said, let's not go through this again at least on this thread. This should be about Cosmic Gate and Bob and whoever else. I wish I could be there, but my time has finally come to face the reality back in New Orleans. |

I get your point, Kristina & Clovis. It just seems to me that a separate thread might be more appropriate than a rehash of what happened months ago in each new event thread. If only because the constant negativity gets tiring, at least for those of us who do look forward to having a good time at Club Heaven every week (which we always do, pretty much regardless of who is playing, it turns out :D).
Of course, this is an almost uncensored public forum, so you are free to do as you please :)
And obviously, I am speaking only for myself. Don't let my new tongue-in-cheek signature fool you ;) |
