they rolled the steelers at the rca dome last night.
then they host the titans this sunday.
i dont forsee a titan victory unfortunatly.
which brings the colts, 12-0, to jacksonville on the 11th.
we are waiting.
we are doing a 2004 repeat and braking their flawless season.

i say it's going to be tough for jax to win without byron leftwich and fred taylor, and an aging jimmy smith, who's production seems to decrease after every game ... then again, he is seeing triple teams, so the other receivers, like jones and wilford, need to step up .. it's going to be real shocking if david gerrard can do what 12 other quarterbacks couldn't do .. beat the colts .

I was really kind of ashamed. I pride myself on knowing alot about the league, but i have never heard of David Gerrard. I did some basic research.

David Gerrard was a 4th round pick out of East Carolina (Conference USA) by the Jags in 2002. He has seen action in 12 games in his career, with a paltry 53% career completion percentage. He is similar to Byron Leftwich in that he is a bigger QB (6-2, 244lbs.) but he is not known as a pure pocket passer, nor a runner. He simply completes high-percentage passes, often after contact. Gerrard beat Texas Tech in the galleryfurniture.com bowl in 2000, but lost the 2001 GMAC bowl to none other than Byron Leftwich and Marshall (the highest scroing bowl game in history at 64-61) before turning pro.

Butters we should remember Garrard, his East Carolina team beat Miami once remember :o

tough yea no doubt.
but we have done ok without fragile fred.
i mean since del rio came in he has beein preparing for these setbacks.
greg jones, while no taylor, has stepped up to the occasion.
i dont see why you say smiths talent is decreasing.
he is a veteran but still delivers.
reggie, wilford need to be more consistent.
matt jones is doig great i think.
put predator (mathis) on colts harris.
as far as garrad he has never disappointed me when he came in for a play or two for leftwitch.
let that boy break out.

I hope the Colts do go undefeated... and then lose to the Pats in the playoffs... that would be so fitting!

But I hope they do go undefeated, because the playoffs are a whole new ballgame, and I don't think Peyton can handle the pressure.

yup.
that happened.

wouldnt be surprised if they lose next week also . yeah they will because they are playing their backups against a headscratcher team like the cardinals.

the colts look very confused right now.

and r.i.p. james dungy . taking his own life. :(

Seattle wont get any respect from me till they win it all. Got a sorry ass division and played a Colts team that left some of their main players out and also pulling out their starters from the game.As you can see how easy the Colts drove down the field on their first 2 possessions.

maybe i'm mistaken, but isnt the point of driving down the field with your starters in ... to score? Not get stopped at the 5 yard line with a first down and settle for a field goal?

Seahawks with their first posession drive down even easier taking fewer plays and walk right in to TD land. Against their starters minus the injured players.

Colts get the ball and head down the field again, but again are stopped for a fieldgoal from 31 out, but wait. It's blocked.

Starters vs sarters hawks won it 14-3. End of story. Use excuses all you want, but when it came down to it the colts couldnt hold our offense and the colts couldn't get into the endzone with payton manning and his starting offense,
