This is... sick :P
but not in the bad way... the intro is far too hectic for my taste. Try to make at least the intro a little "slower". Plus it's too long.
Sometimes it sounds like some kind of IDM to me. The percussion is not bad at all. The oldschool "buffer override" arcade synths are somehow very cool, although the whole tune seems kinda distorted. But that might be your intention.
5:00 is great, where the track becomes suddenly kinda straight and danceable. Towards the end it gets kinda cool again, like a remix of old street fighter themes or something like that.
I think that your tune is far too long for a genre like this, although I can see you try to put a lot of changes in the tune... but most listeners (like me) can only stand this in small doses ;) ... I really enjoyed parts of the tune, but listening through this as a whole was very hard to me. |
