Another something to ponder about

It's been 60 yrs since the end of WW2.
Those vets that lived this long, if they enlisted at the age of say, 18, they would be 78 yrs old now. That's freaking old. Even the 'younger' ones who lied about their age to join at 16 would be 76.
Not many yrs left on those vets who are still alive today. |

I get pretty ing teary eyed on Remembrance Day and whenever I hear Amazing Grace played on bagpipes, and Last Call/Taps of course, on the solo trumpet.
it's happening now.
:(
I always make sure to thank and shake the hands of the veterans that are doing the Remembrance Day stuff, and all the poppy stuff around this time of year. |

i do care dont get me wrong ... i care for what they did in the war and everything but my comment was directed merely towards the fact that he has so much time on his hands that he sat there god knows how long to figure it all out and s.
and ofcourse i was only kidding in case ya didnt notice :tongue2
