What are the best compilation cds? Looking to expand my collection/knowledge base.

I'd like to find some good compilation cds with tracks from various artists in order to seek out and discover some new music. Last time i picked up a compilation cd was an amp magazine many years ago that came with a cd each month but they no longer carry it in my area.
Anyone have any tips on where to look or know of any particularly good compilations? |
