This isn't a "vids" section, it's a "Humour / Funny Stuff / Cool Web Sites" section. If it were a "vids" section, I'm sure it would be filled with porn and other stuff that is obviously not allowed on this site. I'm not sure how vids of people getting shot and killed falls under the acceptable category when so many other things do not. |

Yeah, nothing makes me happier than seeing people posting videos of people getting killed on the "Cool Websites" forum. Watching people getting shot and killed is just so cool, I hope we have more of it around here. I really think it's an area that's been lacking.

it doesn't really matter who's the sniper and who are the victims, in both cases we're dealing with a kind of war propaganda that you are not supposed to find in a humor/funny vids section. But I can see your point and sincerely hope you're wrong. I'm glad I can't understand the lyrics of that song in the background because I would probably be very pissed about what's said in them.
showing real killings can be effective to show how hard a war can be, but not when you're supporting war propaganda like in this case. You shouldn't support that people visit these kind of links, which only intent to hail a terrorist for what he has done. |

| Some of those shots didn't look to real. I point to the ones were the troops are jsut duckin, and descending in to a vehicle. Also the ones where after the shot, the camera shakes then you don't see him going down , then the camera stops shaking and either the soldier is out of sight or just on the ground. My opinion, that is all. |

Firstly let me preface this with the thought that I do support the troops there, quite a few people I know have been there.

How is using a sniper rifle more cowardly that using a cruise missle?
As for this being funny as someone else from here said. No it is not. Whatever the policy behind them being there people getting killed is never funny.
EDIT: I remember arguing about that Apache video before. Some peoples views on the value of human life and the uglyness of war seem to have switch about... |

but people being seriously injured is perfectly acceptable to view on the boards?

I think it depends. If they're doing stupid ass things to get themselves hurt, and they recovered, then I don't really see a problem with it. There are TV shows on 24/7 with people doing stupid or crazy things and getting hurt, and I really don't hear much of an uproar about that.
However, when you have a video of a sniper killing soldiers, I don't think those two are even comparable. One is the loss of life in a hostile environment in the line of duty, the other one is some dude breaking a leg skateboarding.
I really don't see much of a similiarity between the two. |

the vid is indeed sad... but i wont feel sorry for anyone that has joined the american army to go to iraq AND im not gonna feel sorry for someone that gave a vote to bush for a 2nd time... so yea.. i dont feel sorry for those that lost 10.000 while they have killed hundrends of millions of ppl during 100 years of history...
america showed their support to the war in iraq when george bush became presidend for the 2nd time (and the first too). ofcourse he is the one who should be shot in the head but w/e. life sucks.

As someone else mentioned earlier if this was a video of some arab getting shot it would have been ok to laugh at them because after all they are all terrorists:rolleyes: .
But since Americans lives are far more superior then Iraqis hell brakes loose when we see something like this.
