Been looking at the Ultrasone DJ1 and the DJ1 Pro. Anyone have any first hand experience with these? Can't seem to find any stores here that physically have them so I can't try them out in person. Good for loud clubs? Is the pro worth the extra $50 or so? I'm used to using the Sony 700s and the Pioneer 1000s.
Also, anyone know if these are in the "recommended" list in the manual for Xone 92s/62s?
Thanks.

I just posted something similar in another thread.
In case you missed it, here you go:
I own a Xone:92 as well, and recently bought some DJ-1 Pros. They are fantastic, sound great, and are comfortable. They are a bit big, and are a bit unwieldy during one-ear monitoring.
I recently tried out some DJ-1s, and I like the fit and comfort much better. The sound isn't quite as good, but it is still excellent. And they're a good bit less expensive.
If I could do it again, I would go for the DJ-1s. I am completely happy with the Pros, though.
Cheers, and good luck with your decision. Either way, you can't go wrong. |

| Ultrasone are good.. one of the few that make swivelling headphones which don't crack at the hinges like the sony v700s, pioneer hdj1000s, and the stanton s3000's.. |

I agree with everything stated above. I find the DJ1's to be a bit more comfortable, but the sound on the DJ1 PRO is fantastic!
Still, the comfort issue is not huge, and I'm still getting used to my PRO's ;) |
