Hi everyone,
About 6 months ago or so my computer experienced a bad hard drive crash (S.M.A.R.T error on start-up) and I lost all my drum and percussion samples I ever downloaded along with most of my projects. Unfortunately I did not have any of the files backed up. Yes, I know it's my own fault :(
The worst part about this is that I can still see the files on the hard drive, but when I try to copy them to a different location I get an error and the copying process terminates. It also take a really long time to copy a file even as small as <1mb. I was able to salvage a few Cubase projects, but all my Logic projects along with most of the downloaded drum and percussion samples are not retrievable.
After this disaster I got discouraged and stopped producing for a while, but lately I've been feeling like I'm ready to start over.
So I was just wondering of any of you would be willing to donate some of the drum samples that were posted on this site in the past: Sirocco's, Bren-F's and Anergy's drum sample packs are some of the ones I'm looking for. If you have any other high quality drum and percussion sample packs you are willing to donate I will gladly accept them.

| If you're really desperate, there are places who can recover most of the data on a damaged hard disk. Ask your local computer store if they can recommend any. |

indeed, all the "good links" are now in the 2 stickies too
hard luck, but aquila has a point. worth getting it sorted for a few pennies by professionals
