In Flanders Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Today on November 11th, and everyday for that matter I give much respect to those who gave their lives for us and people overseas that they had never even met. These young men displayed compassion, courage, and the greatest form of selflessness. They have provided us with not only a model on how to live, but a whole way of life. We owe them our freedom. I can't even imagine going through what these soldiers went through. So thank you to those who fell, have fallen since, and those still alive to preserve the memory of their fallen comrades. LEST WE FORGET.

| Respect and Honour these individuals who sacrificed so much to give us the freedoms we enjoy today. Many soldiers, younger then us, fought bravely to defend what was right. We all must take a moment today and thank these individuals for what they help create in our wonderful country. |
