hello

i have mixer console Yamaha Mg 8/2 FX and access virus C desktop, my soundcard is m-audio audiophile 192.

could anyone help me how can i connect virus c to mixxer and to soundcard to use Virus as an FX ? anyway? it is possible ?

from which output to which input... where etc ... ill be glad if anyone can write it step by step. because im new to virus c, and tutorials didnt help me.
please help me, if you have time :)

its amazing how many questions get asked on these forums when the answer is in the manual. :(

you have to send the signal from your DAW out to a set of outputs. if you are monitoring whilst doing this you need 2 outs for your monitors (left and right) and an addition 2 outs to send to the virus inputs. there is only 1 stereo input on the virus so theres no way in hell you can possibly get this wrong.

you then need to go to the effects button on the virus and set the input variable to 'toeffects' this will allow you to process external signals in your host (like drum loops and so forth) through the virus filter and effects section.
