well, i read the rest of this thread and it really is as simple as the fact that the girl is young and inexperienced and very insecure bc she really doesn't know what to do.
i used to be in that stage- a million thoughts running thru your mind yet you can't distinguish 1 from the other or form a single coherent thought nevermind vocalize one or what she is generally feeling. it's very awkward but u have to give it patience if u really like this girl...at this stage in the game, she just doesn't know what to do, so i would advise to _cautiously_ lead the dance. |

Wow, I had a very similar situation.
My suggestion is that "instant messenger" has killed your chance of a relationship, as it did to me.
Basically I met some girl at New Year, was a ing great night, and it seemed certain that we would be together. The following week, a lot of texting etc., then an exchange of MSN addresses. I didn't actually see her again in person until a couple of weeks AFTER new year, but in the meantime we had been talking loads on MSN and getting to know each other properly.
This was a fatal mistake.
When we eventually met in person, she just completely froze up. She was tongue tied, didn't know what to say, kept making awkward movements and basically just looked really uncomfortable. At first, I thought it was kind of cute that I'd had such an effect on a girl - but she NEVER got over it.
We still talked very openly on MSN, but that was precisely what killed it. Talking to someone on an instant messenger is a very superficial way of getting to know them. In my situation, the girl felt uncomfortable and confused because she was facing a guy she felt she THOUGHT she knew really well, but actually didn't.
She isn't really a shy person, , she's louder than most girls. But in arguably the most crucial stage of making a relationship work, "getting to know" your partner, I made the mistake of doing this across a ing text-based medium.
Your problem might be the same. |
