Bacon Grease

Does anyone ever filter the bacon grease that is leftover in the pan when you're finished cooking? I often use it in cooking rice (a teaspoon usually does it) to add a bit of flavor and thicken it up. However, I believe it has other uses. Does anyone else use this grease for something different?
