well after being without computer and internet access for months... i am finally back
i had a few friends in mind when i threw this mix down.
rick -- i remember and appreciate all of the times you gave me the opportunity to play the Jazz... always a fun party. cant wait till i get back on my feet so i can head westward to visit you on the left coast.. thx man
paul -- thanks for all of the positive words about my music, and this is my interpretation of the chicago dancefloor for you
this mix came about after wilma's rampage. i got so tired of no power, no water, no traffic lights, etc etc etc. i thought a bit of funky, uplifiting house music could be just the thing to help move on. so i hope you enjoy.

mixing is excellent. track selection is good. very differen't style than what i expected really. a lot of it sounds like a soundtrack to like Jackie Brown :wtf:. oooollddddd schoooll house in teh house. :D

thanks for the sentiment... it sure was a trying time... but it did pay off in many ways.
and, as always i appreciate the comments. i know people dont like to comment on the work of someone who doesnt post much, but now that i have my own computer and hurricane season has passed i can be a greater contributor to this community

ahhh... great! i hope the mix meets with your approval. i always have high expectations, but, as we all know, you just cant reach everyone.

top mix! quite easilly one of the best that iv downloaded from TA!
good mixing and its full of quality house tracks, as u said you must have "high expectations" ;)
this forum has been in excellent over the past few months, a lot of really crackin mixes have been posted!

wow! i am really glad 'vintage' touched you. one of the reassons i made the mix is: everytime i go out and hear a dj play classic house or classically-styled house, i coould never go home feeling bad, no matter the mood from which i started. theres just something about that soulful wailing and funky basslines that grabs you by the ass and makes you work all of your cares away.

i havent listened to that mix in a while... methinks i am going to have to play it... since i am at home, sick. i think being sick in florida when its 70 out is twice as miserable as being sick in PA when its 20
