| Suede is by far the sickest bar/lounge in S.A. I was there sat. night. The place was jumping off. I really thought i was in another city.......all the people trying to get in and the music they were playing. I was definitly impressed. Finally San Antonio is catching on with the rest of the whole damn world. I can't wait to hear some quality trance coming from that venue. |

Hmmm...I don't think those people are in line because they want to hear the music, they are just in line because it's the new "hot spot"
I mean you could probably have Deep Dish playing or James Z and half the people there wouldn't know what the heck was going on. When I went over the weekend I noticed most of the people were there to see what the place had to offer(bar, girls, etc.) Not too many were dancing. The place is nice...but I am not sure yet if I am willing to wait in line longer than 5 minutes to get in....unless there is some big time talent.
I don't mean to be negative, just don't want people thinking San Antonio has come of age when it comes to EDM when half the people going there probably could care less what music is playing as long as there are hot people in there =)
P.S. Oh yea, what's up with the collared shirt rule? On one night I got in no hassle, the next I had to get the "ok" from another bouncer there. I guess I should feel lucky that they don't ask me to tuck my shirt in. |
