+1 first post. if u like hip hop and rock, you're probably happy here. if u like EDM primarily and want that EDM experience, that doesnt happen often here. if it wasnt for my job, ide move.

there are plenty of places to listen to edm, you have amp, flirt, castle , hyde park, whiskey park, underground, plus a few others

Yeah, that idiot ruined most of DJ Santana's set during his own birthday party this past August. Took the combined efforts of trancebrat and ClubGoddess and several others to shut that tool's mouth. Amp rocked when Santana and Suzy did a tag-team DJ session, followed Ferry in' Corsten back in June. The club has its best times and moments, albeit not many of them, but the few that there are, rock.

what happened that night i left around 2am so i didnt get to see the guy ruin the show, lucky for me!! santana can still throw down some pretty good sets and that im thankful for because i know any weekend of the year i can usually catch him somewhere in the bay area if i wish

arent you still under 21? Most places are 21 and up for guys, which is probably why you dont go to other places. Plus since you still glowstick, Underground is the only place that allows that as far as I know.

yep, but even if i was 21, i wouldnt want to go to most places. thats just how i view it. i personally just like a rave atmosphere and not the commercial club. not about the club or dj playing there, but about the music and unity of the genre. too bad its changed.

i understand every city is different, but were in florida and tampa is a major city, they got a responsibility, to be the best they can be. if they were just a hip hop club only then ok, but they play edm, and the radio station 93.3 broadcast edm from amp, so they use edm to bring ppl to their club, so if they are going to be doing that bs, then be a good ing club, don't be half-ass. i think that if you got a good venue, good music, and good crowd, thats what makes the ultimate experience.

I know dear, I didnt mean it directly towards you. I know what you're saying though. That's why I havent gone in a while.

just for the record this is my review of kimball collins tonight at the AMP tonight 11-12-05, he ing sucks, whats up with his attempt at some Prog, come on he built his name on trance and now he wants to jump the bandwagon without any skills in mixing house music or an ability of selecting tracks, he couldnt keep the crowd into it at all which is damn near impossible at the amphitheater
