Just finished this track. I would greatly appreciate some feedback.

Hey TIA,

I like your intro... cool atmosphere.

The kick is a little quiet and a bit hollow.

I like the fx, those sweeps are nice!

All these delayed synths are great and do a good job moving the song forward. However, your low-end needs a big boost! Where's the bass?

You've got some really great ideas here, and the melodies are awesome! I think the song would benefit from a few more layers of percussion and a deeper more prominent bass.

I enjoyed this one! Reminds me of Dreamtec - Venus

Keep up the fine work,
Trev

hey mr twelve.

great atmosphere you have created. with a lot of reverb and a handfull of nice synth selections.

maybe limit the overall amount of reverb you use and the track will sound more clear.

jeeze, you have got a great ear for melodies. this break is right up my street! your synth selection is great also!

overall id say the track sounds a very thin in the kick dept. and too muddy from reverb overuse. once you perfect a decent beat structure and get the levels/reverb sounding right i think you ll be churning out stuff much to my tastes. there is a definate brilliant tune here that needs a lot of work. but once its sorted it would be a track id definately buy.

as sooper said, keep up the good work!

awsome potential.

check my tune
here!

and post your views on it. my sound is similar to yours but slightly slower and more proggy...

love to hear what you think!

thank you very much for these constractive feedbacks. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I will have to spend more time on the areas you guys have mentioned. I think what will also help will be a new monitor setup that I am thinking about. Right now, I don't get much of a flat response.

After I burned the song and listened on couple of different systems, I instantly heard one partical part of the song not sounding right. It's that driving rythem/bassline (dont know what to call it). The reverb stack out too much and it was overpowering the rest of the song.

richg101: I will definitelly review your song. It's just that I am at work right now and the speakers here suck. So once I get back I will have a go at it.

Thanks again :)

bad monitors are a bad thing and hold you back so much.

mine just dont cut the mustard either. but i have three sets of speakers including a pro audio pair so i get an idea how tracks will sound on a club pa system. apparently behringer make a cheap but great pair of monitors...

cheers for checking my track
