so, here's my remix of trancevisions great song "crystal invitation".
my version is less ASOT and more energetic. sounds a little bit like ron van den beuken and/or active sight.
anyway, it's just a preview and the mp3 codec screwed the sound up a little. this version is slighly mixed and NOT MASTERED yet.
there's also still a bit of finetuning going on.
but enough talk, check it out:

Be careful they don't mistake you for 'Jochen Miller', he's a different kind of business ;)

Awesome old school flavour. Straight to the point trance with minimal delays. Dont know the original, but the melody is kewl, with heaps of personality and feeling.
Mastering is a bit whack though. The highhats really dominate and sound a tad distorted and generally I think the track is limited a bit too aggressively.
Good production! |

2 bassline ---> its a bit to sharp for my taste
positive points are, break, drums & perc

Cool mix, won't comment on the mixing and mastering then as it's not finished as you said :)
The superfast kick thing at 0:41 is a bit too fast for my liking.
Ok, getting to the main melody here.
Takes a bit time to get into the track. It kicks off for me at 3:48. I'd love to see that melodic progression enter a lot earlier, and it gets turned off quite fast too.
So.. a lot more of that melodic part :D
Otherwise, great work! |
