| do yourself a favor and disconnect your cable modem. then give it to someone and tell them not to give it back until your assignment is done. |

i tried to first place my comp on another table in my room, and use the one on which it was on for studying. didnt work. i was practically at the new table my whole time! so then i tried to place it in another empty room i got. it was a better idea, but i was still going pretty much back and forth nonstop.
btw, does anyone here listen to music while studying? can they concentrate? i put on prog, but i can only do it wen im doing something like math. when i gotta read something its alot harder so i just turn it off. but i usually have to have something on cuz otherwise the im doing is just tooo boring to be only doing that! |

| I typically like music or the tv to be on when I study...sometimes I want it to be quiet, but thats rare. |

maybe however the othe rproblem i have is that im a ta addict and a msn addict. my work has to be done on the comp. but i have it set in my head that when im on the comp i have to check ta and be on msn and check email and all that .
i know the solution is to buy a laptop and not install any of that on it and just do the work from there. however, laptops arent cheap |
I understand your problem well. This is why I prefer being with my Thinkpad, sitting in a public library or Tim Hortons where there is no WiFi or net access. I have done this for a couple years now (I am in a faced-paced college program), and it works great. Only recently did one Tims kick me out. :haha:
Eliminate the root of the problem, and get rid of the net access itself. God speed, vividboy! |
