Seriously tho, this was a great game, had we won or lost I would've been happy as we've shown we can handle the bigger teams. Sure we may lack some of the possession but the directness we include helps us counter this.
On another note, I saw france vs germany as well & france looked awful, they seemed to just lack anything creatively. Glad Spain & Swiss won too, I hate the turks so anything against them is good :D |

France Vs. Germany was a very boring game. But it's understandable that France played like they did on Stade de France.
France played against Costa Rica a couple of days before they faced Germnay at home. Germany played very bad last night too, But they had the chance to prepare themselfes for a longer time without being exhausted.
Another note: Did you see that goal Henry scored against Costa Rica?

Germany is a quality team with a lot of young and good players. They can do sooo much better and France didn't recover from the Costa Rica-game.
Even though everyone's bashing the German team nowadays, They'll be very good in the World Cup next year, That's a fact.
Their primary goal is too reach the quarterfinals next year, But as everyone else, They're dreaming about getting through to the finals and win. |

Fantastic game, looked like a competitive match instead of a friendly. I think a draw would be more fair tho. Argentina was better during most part of the game, but England's last 20 minutes decided it.
I hope this is the kind of football we're going to have in the World Cup.. |
