I've just come back from this quality event! respect to Ministry of Sound for the efforts in organising the whole thing!

The Story: Me and my mates got to the Dome at 10:30, after dropping into the pub for a few drinks :eyes: The queue was massive, but moved so quickly. No questions asked about my age :D no search either :D Had a look at all the areas first. It turns out that the ENTIRE dome apart from the other areas was the Trance arena! Anyway, D'n'B tent was quite banging, the UK Garage room was packed and smelt. The BBarcardi Bar was quite nicely organised, the Rulin Arena was brilliant. The food stalls were conviently located near all areas, and there were loads of toilets, which was good except, there was 1000's of peeps tryin to use them at the same time!

Went back to Trance arena for the Midnite countdown. I don't beleive they gave DAve PEarce the Midnite set, but it wasn't too bad. Raved for about 9hrs thereon after! Ferry Corsten was top quality, Anne Savage was banging, and Alex P and Brandon Block chilled everyone out with old school, house, and progressive. Tiesto's early mornign set was AMAZING and got everyone going AGAIN! Tunes played that I recognised were Dreamcatcher - I don't wanna lose my way (Magik remix), Airwave - Save Me, Urban Train, Flight 643 and this tune that Ferry Corsten played at Dancevalley. Then I went home, and it was bloody cold, cuz i had a t-shirt and light jacket on! :(

Tune of the event was Signum - What Ya Got 4 Me, I'm sure that was played about 6 times!

Best mix was Camisra- Let me Show You and Mauro Picotto - Lizard by, gasp, Dave Pearce! OLD SKOOL TRANCE ROCKS!

The event was top quality. Give us more next year Ministry!!! :D

i completely disagree. everyone who i went with agreed that it was . anne savage played the worst set ever. normally she was brilliant, playing the hardest hard house, but she played prog, which i hate. the place was freezing. the bar was soo badly organised. people i know queued for 2 hours to get drinks. dave pearce only played one good tune. the midnight tune. i 4got the name of it. someone remind me.
however the fire works were wicked. the size of the place had to be seen to be believed. the best trance was outide on the funfair, it was playing all the good tunes but i couldnt stay there as it was soo cold.
i thought they completely sodded the trance up and we left at 4.30. knowing my luck it got good after that.

Anne Savage's set was good for the time that she played, I forget, to pace everyone thru the night, just like ALex P andBlocko's set, which was good for just "dancing". Tiesto set was uplifitng and melodic, and cos everyone hadn't used up there ennergy thru the night, they could jump up and down with hands in the air!

The Dome event was a laugh but the crowd was sh1t.

Of 50,000, I'd say less than 5,000 were strill there at the end. Loads of people conked out by about 8am, and we'd all been dancing since 9pm the night before.

The speakers were far too quiet, I barely had to raise my voice to be heard right next to the speakers.

All in all it was a good event, but only if you made it so yourself. The crowd aorund me was sh1t!

PS: mdma, did you see the bogs?!? About an inch of brown water!

I have to agree that the music was well quiet un all the arenas, coz they ed up the speaker postistioning! THe toilets were skank, and everytime u needed to sit down, u had to look real close at the floor otherewise u would end up sitting in half eaten hotdog/puke/booze/skanky water. Loadsa people left at about 4 ish, for some reason! I stayed there especially for TIESTO!

Judge Jules was SH1T!!!

Is there some law on the volume of the music, cos later in the morning it got quieter?

I admit, Judge had nothing to work with. Quieter music than the rest of the DJs, and no lighting cos the outside light shone right thru the Dome's canvas.

I think the DJs were brill, but it was VERY, VERY hard crowd to please.

The southerners have no stamina! (no offence like:D )

PS, why was Judge Jules doing loads of shrugging and pulling silly faces at the end. He really was behaving like a c0ck.

it was bloody cold!!! I had my jacket on but it was still cold!!!

I think that the party was OK but I was expecting more...:(
Anne Savage's set was great and Tiesto was amazing! I missed Judge Jules ...

Does anyone have the line-up and play-lists?

evil_bastard
Who was that female DJ, with shoulder length hair I think, playing early hours in the morning. She was one of the best of the night! Tiesto was good too.
dj_mdma
The female DJ was Anne Savage. I wanna know the lineups so that I REALLY know who was playing! Someone must have bought one of those lineup guides for £5.

PS. Sorry I didn't contact u in time Gaby! :sadgreen: IT wud have been cool to have met you!
