hey guys, i am seconds away from ordering my dj setup which consists of (literally):

2 NUMARK TT200 TURNTABLES 356$
1 NUMARK DXM06 MIXER 193$
2 SHURE M44-G CARTRIDGEs 126$
1 Pair of SONY MDR-V500 HEADPHONES 59$

the total is 734.00

i was gonna order it from djdeals.com, but before i hand these guys over 730 bucks, i wanna make sure that they are a good company...

are they a legit company and has anyone ever ordered from them or heard anything about them.

thanks
bisco

if you wanna buy numark tt's then buy tt-500 =]

tt200's have a bunch of problems with the pitch and imo aren't worth it.

tt500's ftw.

I ordered my gear from them and they are legit. Ive never heard anything bad about them. Their shipping is free which offsets the fact that it takes a while to ship, but Im in cali and theyre in vermont so its understandable. You should feel fine about ordering from them

The pitch on the 500's isn't a piece of garbage like the tt200's. I owned a pair of 200's and they were crap. I bought techs and omgosh I could keep a record in sync for 1+ minute IMMEDIATELY when I got them, where as I couldn't keep the 200's in sync for more than 20 seconds. My old gemini turntable did better than the 200's. :wtf:

so the 500's are cool then?

500s are awesome. i own a pair..

HUUGE difference between them and the 200s, u need to see to realize..

check out the weight spec. the 200s weigh nothing, like a toy, the 500s are quite a bit beefier.

And the 200s are really just not good.

500s=win.

whats the rush? ebay = techs

personally i'd save up some more money and get better stuff, the mixer will stop working after a year of use, youll want better decks at some stage and i wont even start on the headphones

good stuff holds its value better too, so youll still be able to sell it for a decent amount if you decide you arent into it

Actually the v500s are pretty decent. my first pair and ive seen bigger djs using them on occasion.

ur right about the mixer, i have one, and its pretty much broken...

faders are gone, crossfader curve change is gone.
