Review: Erick Morillo at Surface in Ottawa Nov 12

Erick Morillo did not disappoint. This man has style, taste, class and control...all wrapped into one spectacular set.
I must say that in my opinion, Erick Morillo is the best house DJ. He had the crowd going crazy from the minute he put a track on. The suspense followed by the hard bass. Every song was mixed well and got the crowd jumping and screaming.
I find it hard to express the intense sounds that were pumping through Surface last night. I had an absolutely fantastic time and I look forward to another great night with Erick tonight in Toronto.
Need sleep know...for those of you going to see Erick tonight for the first time, you are in for a real treat...He will make you move!! |

OK, so excited that I didn't post about the venue or the crowd.
Surface was an ok place. It was nice cause the DJ was up close and personal with the dance floor. We didn't have to wait in line. The facilities were decent and the drinks were affordable (you know the regular Guvernment prices).
After all of the drunk people filed in, it made it hard to dance..there were little sections off in the back or on the second floor, but I really wanted to be up with Erick.
I guess that's it.. :) |
