it's actually his manager... I think her name is Sheila from what I could hear in the booth.

Paul's wife is Natascha and I don't think she ever travels with him.

I had a wild time, despite it being like a sauna in there. Missed your set Seneca, but I heard very good things. Chris Walsh was unreal; could anyone id any tracks? He threw down some deep, hard and dirty stuff the half hour before paul came on. The sound system at Vision did it justice.

Favorites of mine were Jose Amnesia vs. Serp - Second Day , Agnello & Ingrosso - Yeah, Jose Zamora & Damian P - Transatlantic, and Shiloh - Dream On, and of course Santiago - Believe. There were a couple of gorgeous unknowns.. more id's welcome!

also, i met a guy on the stage during the encore who said he was TA ( i think you said your name was nate?) i was looking for someone to get excited about Mindcircus with and you knew what was up.

I was sitting above Paul the eniter nite. Saw him do nothing but Adjust knobs.

If he was using Serato scrach why was he not using the Deck to "cue" a song up?

All he did was tap his laptop once in a while. I firmly believe he was playing eveything...pre-done. He had all his songs all rdy cued up in Abelton and just hit play, play, play.

Not that thats bad. I just miss the old says where it was all wax. When he spinned cd/vinyl.

It's fine I mean I use FS. However I just was a little disappointed. his set was great though

I already emailed C Walsh.

Seneca I came in a little late didnt get to catch you. I know your skill though I have no doubt in my mid u threw down!

Chris Walsh did a great job as well... picked up the energy after me.

Paul went on @ 2 am and used 2 laptops... 1 with Serato Scratch Live and the other with Abelton Live!!! I was totally drooling over his setup!

did not record my set... they are having issues with the recorder there.

I guess you were right next to me then... 3rd floor? right behind paul?

I totally agreed with you... I was also kind of dissapointed that he didn't "spin" ... however , I don't think it was pre-done. He only used the CDJs a couple of times, the rest of his set, was all Ableton.
Same thing as Sasha, BT, G&D do

OK, my turn for review....

First off, Seneca's set was awesome. Great track selection. Thanks for the CD too:)

Chris Walsh also threw down a huge set. He played two of my favorite current tracks, which went off in the club (and these may be some of the ones Eu4ea wanted IDed:))

BCML - Mr Horowitz (Way Out West Remix)

Mat Leutwyler & Jason Suzuki - The Contended Gastronome (Kosmas Epsilon Mix)

PvD definitely delivered. The place was slammed but the energy was awesome. I spent half my time drinking on the sidelines and then braving the dance floor. Definite highlight for me was when he played Summer Dream--place went nuts too. I think this may hav ebeen the only time that I have ever been to Vision where the place was still absolutely packed when closing came. Also, it was cool to hear Mindcircus as the encore, always dig that track, esp. the G&D remix (which it wasn't).

Also, I think I only ran into Seneca and Christen on the TA front--great to see you guys. Didn't really spend much time up by the booth, was just too slammed.

Overall, awesome night--only downer was the hangover on Sunday lol.

I swear it takes me forever to get around to writing a review...

I was debating on whether or not to go to this the whole week and after reading how his NY show was and considering I hadn't been out with a friend that was going for a long time, I decided to go. I'm glad I did too! It was worth the place being crowded and what I paid for the ticket.

We tried to get there earlier but by the time we got in it was around 11:15 or so and but we were able to catch part of Seneca's set which we really got into. It was the 1st time my friends had heard him and they enjoyed it. Thanks for the CD by the way, I've been listening to it this week a lot.

Chris Walsh did a great job too at warming up the crowd before PVD came on. He had a great set! The place was getting packed at that point and the energy in the place was nuts!

PVD came on later than expected but it was definitely worth the wait! I thought he was great. He'll always be one of my favorites even though lately I've been been into more house, even a little techno since Hawtin. Out of the 3 times I've seen him, which have all been great nights, I would say that this was the most fun. He kept us dancing pretty much the whole time which normally doesn't happen. I loved that he ended the night with Mindcircus, I'll always love that track!

Didn't see too many people but I also didn't really walk around too much either. It was nice to see Seneca, James and Mike. :)

Great Set Dude! Loved yours and Chris's afterwords.
The only thing that saved me from bitching about not getting my promised 4 hours of PVD was the great music beforehand

Great Job!
