Very, very sad....I was shocked when I heard. Eddie had so much charism and was a great performer even though I can't stand wrestling anymore.

RIP
Eddie N MIAMI
I havnt really watched wrestling lately much less Smackdown , and while I was never really a fan of Guerrero, he was a cool wrestler, much respect from an Eddie to an Eddie

what to say, I'm still in shock and in tears, ironically enough i've dedicated this week-end to watch his dvd and all..
i'm a huge wrestling fan and it's also part of my life, and Benoit is my idol so obviously I was a big fan of Eddie too as they have similar styles and were such good friends, Eddie, you'll definitely be missed, you were the man! :(

RIP eddie g

interesting. did a quick google and came up with some sites...

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/2004...wrestling_x.htm
http://www.wrestleview.com/info/faq/deaths.shtml
http://www.cooldudesandhotbabes.com/tributes2.html

I was more of a fan of ray mysterio than Eddie G (when they clashed in the ring it was awesome) but he was definitely good for the business. Respect.

How do you know?

he was on rehab and according to his nephew he would be sober in the 15th of November of this year if I'm not mistaken for 4 years now. He had way too much trouble in the past (alcohol, arrest DUI, painkllers OD etc) and was very vocal about it but he got up from that.

Out of all people. I didn't expect you to watch wrestling. Go figure. Well, that's real sad news. He was a great wrestler and comes from a generation of wrestlers in the Guerrero family. As you might recall his brother and father were wrestlers and his nephew Chavo Guerrero still wrestles on WWE. I remember Eddie finally earned major respect he was longing during a classic ladder match he had with Edge. After that WWE started giving him more high profile matches and his popularity sky rocketed. Do you remember that Ian? Oh well, great wrestler and may he RIP.

Droz and Duke Droze are alive. Droz's career was cut short in 1999 though due to a D-Lo Brown running Powerbomb gone wrong and is in a wheelchair for the rest of his life :(
