vocals, you forgot vocals. Get rid of 'em.
Basically, when I want to listen to any EDM set I expect to hear the equivalent of what it would sound like for a 37 year old woman taking an elongated in a Bombay toilet recorded on a Walkman and then put on to vinyls and mixed in key.
Man, that would be sweet. |

claps rule.
especially when you high pass one, and quantise it slightly off whilst have a nice 909 snare playing dead on every 2nd and 4th beat and compress it hard.
if you sit it right in the mix you get the 'air' and the hiss from the clap and the thwack of the snare with a slight delay between them - resulting in a flam effect which sounds really cool. the result being a super 'half snare, half clap hybrid' with the best bits of both!
WOW. patent that idea and watch the money roll in. what? its already been done loads before? oh sh- |
