vestax pdx 2000 question

hello everybody!
i wanted to know if i can use orfton's concorde nightclub s or similar on the pdx 2000?

i know ortfon needels can be attached to the pdx-2000 i asked about a pointed needle, look at the picture in the link to see what i meant

| you are talking about a headless cartridge..or so I figure....The needle goes into the Cartridge.....So and needle will work if you have the right cartridge.and any cartridge that works in a Technics can work in a PDX 2000 and vis versa... |

It can be used, but with extra record and stylus wear.
P-mount cartridges (the integrated headshell type like Orto's) are designed for an s-shaped arm. Believe me or not, but the cartridge should still be angled a little bit to minimize record wear (you might look at the Vestax straight arm headshell, or the Stanton STR8 headshells, they have a little marking how to angle the cartridge).
But it's perfectly useable. If you got a straight arm TT, the record/stylus wear will already be heavier than with an S-shaped arm, so a little more wear shouldn't kill you (for now).
