Im looking to enroll in professional photography classes and I was just wondering if anybody knows of any good institutes in the city that they have taken or know somebody that has. I have been looking into a few but some recommendations would be awesome.

Finding out about these things is always good through reputable stores.

BH Photo Video comes to mind. They have a big store on the west side of manhattan. Who knows why not go over there and ask.

Make a posting on craigslist while you're at it as well.

Right now I shoot for Groovanauts.com but it's nothing serious.....pretty much all club photography. My goal is to become a wildlife photographer. I wouldn't mind shooting weddings on the side as well.

Yea Brian, just spoke to my brother who went to FIT for graphic design- he said he knew people that took photography classes at FIT, and only had good things to say about them. Thats probably ur best bet, and i dont think they are that expensive...could be wrong tho.
