Sup people,
For anyone in or around Huntington Beach, me and a friend are interested in having a house night at a local club called Atlanta Lounge, located on the corner of Atlanta and Brookhurst. Not the greatest of venues but its not the crappiest. My friend DJs there on Fridays and before we asked the owner of the place for a house night, I first wanted to see how many people would actually be interested in coming out. If it works, this is also a great opportunity for anyone who wants to DJ somewhere outside your bedroom, like me haha. So if anyone even remotely intersted can just reply that'd be great. No cover but it is 21+. |

| kool, glad to hear some ppl responding, since this is at a venue where its more of a bar/lounge than club, the key is to convince owner we can bring in numbers so more ppl reply the better. I will however get back to my friend who DJs there n tell him we got some ppl on board. Bring friends!! more info to come when available but keep them posts coming. |

| i live close by so id definitely check it out. what does your friend spin on friday nights?? i like these kind of bars anyway, and some house music would make it even better. Oh, and the HB girls :crazy: |

You better have one AWESOME promotion team, getting poeple to come to EDM in OC is hard. Jesse (DJ Woody) and I had two different club nights in Anaheim, you gotta keep with it and don't give up. After a few months we finally finally started getting in some new people, but the club owner was being a dick and wanted to make a profit faster. Patience young paduan...patience.

| yea thats basically the same scenario, its primarily a bar but any music the place does play is top 40 hip hop, and my friend spins it but only does cuz its what the crowd wants. I actually live in Anaheim hills Bas so yea, a lotta people might listen to trance, rather twance, but they wouldn't pay to go see it or whatever. I am hopeful since house can at least draw more girls where as trance draws more guys, and where there are girls, guys will follow. This boils down to if beer sales are up, we can do this. |

Good luck man, I don't want to scare you or anything lol buuuuutttt...our club was house music too. We had pretty good drink specials, the night was FREE and it was still hard!
Free entry and $4 vodka/cranberries, and man...difficult to promote for :p

| haha, i noticed this thread has slowly slipped back to the 2nd page, no date set but it would go down on a Thursday night, I realize this puts a wrench in some people's schedules but this is all we can work out. Apparently, bringing a lotta ppl to help alcohol sales for the bar is not an issue but just trying to get people to come out just so dance floor is not empty haha. Again, Atlanta lounge is in Huntington beach, pretty close to Costa Mesa, Long Beach, not far from Anaheim so in addition to all the people who have already posted I hope there are some more. Girls in their low 20's will be there if that sways anyone into going. |
