as far as i know, Live has optical and digital out, can play mulitple "sound sources" from a computer, and is way better.
I have live! 5.1 and it is a gem.
SB regular will only play one sound source and i dont think has all the extras. Live is worth the extra cash.. sont think its much more anyways. in fact, i dont even know if youre lokoing to buy it!

| yeah, I like Live! a lot better... the Platinum edition is a good buy if you're willing to dish out the cash... front bay for your midi and audio jacks, u can't go wrong :D |

| sound blaster vs sound blaster live? gosh man...of course you go with the live...if you got surround sound then sbL will let you hook up your 5 speakers + subwoofer to your computer so you can get full effect..not only that but sound blaster live has 32 or 64 bit sound (i forget which one) but since you have a highter bitrate of sound that meansssssssssss better quality soundddddd...you want to waste 30 bucks on a cheap outdated sound blaster? or would you spend ~100 bucks for something that can do so much more with so much better quality..? when you buy..go with the good stuff..cuz then youre going to waste your money on something cheap thats going to be replaced quick in the future anyways... |
