I just won a 1210 mk5 on ebay for $107
:eyespop:
$24 shipping. Insane.
Said the pitch wouldn't hold. But For 107...hell I'll buy it and take it into the digital electronics teacher in school and we'll work on it  |

bet you it is just dirt/spilt drink/dust etc in the pitch slider.
Take it out and give it a good clean and will be as good as new. |

Some people could make a really good profit from buying Technics that are supposedly ed up... buy them for cheap, fix it (considering that the damage is worth fixing), and resell it.
Quality find there, cheers! |

| Anybody know of any proper 1210mk2 pitch fader cleaning guides? How to take it out & how to properly clean it? I found one on google, but it's not that great. |

| look around on how to remove the 0% click on mk2 since that involves dismantling the pitch slider and its a common mod.. might yield better results :) |

| Does cleaning the pitch fader require any soldering? If so, i'm going to have to take it into school :( |

| Gotta love great deals. I picked up 1 tech 1200 mk2 last month for $100. Perfect condition. I felt bad, so I gave the guy $125. |
