New Trance Tune please listen..

Hi all..
This is the first tune I have managed to complete.. I've only been learning how to use Reason for about 4 month so I know I'm not great yet, and I could really do with some feedback/critsism.
I like it, but I know that when you've made it yourself, it always seems better than it actually is..

great intro...sounds a bit like terminator soundtrack.
but then I got a little tired of hearing that kick all the time
up to 4:20....then I was lifted again...nice piano and strings ;)
especially like some of the effects and filters.
great track....just too tooo loooong !!!

You right about the length, I was going to make it shorter but then decided not to, should have gone with my instinct..

I Like the "dark" intro, nice sounds. this track is ah bit to much compressed imo. The sounds need more space. Pads are kewl. synth is nice but nothing special. Overal is good, i realy liked the spcial sounds in it. But dont compres it to much ;)

Compression is the bit that I really struggle on..I've read so much about it on this board.. I can always get it to sound nearly right but never perfect, but I am getting better, if anyones got any tips then it would be much appreciated..

just listened to it again an its quite similar to 'higher state of conscienceness'.
that synth at 2:24 in sounds nice man. i cant get a good synth goin cant play da in keyboard. lol |

| I definitely feel the track is too compressed. That lead at 2:20 or so sounds great, but it isn't getting its full potential because there is too much compression on the track as a whole. It's too boring that way. Fix your compression issue and the track would be pretty awesome. Maybe shorten it also to like 6 mins or something? heh I mean there are plenty of great sounds and everything just too long =/ |
