I LOVE THE SNOW - especially through middle to late November and most definately throughout all of December. Christmas ain't Christmas without massive quanitities of snow on the ground and freshly falling all the time! :D
We got *some* snow on the ground sticking here in Collingwood. Not really yesterday though.
But Barrie got hit pretty good on Thurs. I was there for an audit. Lunch time it was just coming down in the south end. Then it halted near 4pm-ish.
Then on the way home, near Stayner and Duntroon it picked up again - blowing, blowing snow.
In Barrie it was snowing lightly all day today! :)
Barrie always gets uber snow compared to the area around it. God bless Barrie. I love snow, did I say that already? :clown: |

I don't really have a problem with the snow, or the cold weather in general. My problem is with the morons driving 65 in the left lane of the 400 with nobody in front of them for miles. RIGHT ON CUE as soon as the first snowflake hit the ground!
Winter here would be so much more bearable if it wasn't for the blithering idiots on the roads. |

What about the idiots that do 160 going in and out of traffic cutting everyone off left right and center. |

I dunno about that mate. A seafood feast, and cold crisp beers kicking back on Christmas day is pretty damn sweet as well if you ask me.
All the basics are still there anyway. You still get presents :D |

I remember when I was young, my friends and I used to get so excited on the first day of snow. It meant Winter Wars was upon us.
(we had a tradition of kicking the crap out of each other every recess time when there was snow on the ground) |

They don't exist. Believe me, no one made it past 80 yesterday because of all the "safety first" nuts going half the speed limit.
Even in good conditions, hardly anyone weaves in and out of traffic, and if people would use the left lane for passing like they are supposed to, the speed freaks wouldn't need to weave in and out. |

gotta do it up snow stylez.... thats the ONLY way i for me! :D
presents are cool/awesme, but its hte snow and the lights and the merriment of the seaosn i love so much. all that just isn't as special if there is no snow...

Every morning when i go to work in winter I see at least 5 cars zoom past me and i'm going 100. |
