Thanks Nat,
Ya, our production shop made it for me for my birthday. (we are a marketing firm and we produce a lot of live corporate events)... Two guys spent an entire week on it, most of it trying to get the right "fit" for the components so they inset perfectly. (The turntables are on freefloats, which made that quite tough.)
We should talk about having some sort of TA event at the loft some time soon.

Yea, Chris and Marc's loft (their office) is very cool. Parties there are always a lot of fun, good music, cold beer. No last call gets leads to some terrible hang overs - but worth it. |

If we can convince Chris and Dan to allow for some non-uber trance for a few hours during the Christmas party, I'm hoping to sneak in some breaks and prog with Sarah bringing some of her funky techno (there, a public request...no pressure Chris :p )
Definitely the coolest space in town. I've enjoyed partying up there more than most club nights. There's something to be said for being able to play your own music, no last call, end the night (morning, afternoon, whatever) whenever you choose, and (most importantly) having that with some very good friends!
(the lack of bitchy security, lineups or overcrowding, is nice too :D ) |
