sorry, you might not wanna hear this.
technics 1200 are really the only way to go.
they are expensive, but if you get anything else and find you like DJing, you'll just want techs eventually.. and if you find you don't like DJing it you won't be able to sell those geminis, and you'll be out a bunch of dough. techs you can sell used for almost the same price (or maybe even more than you paid)
trust me, I want decks real bad, I can afford the crappy ones..
but I'm saving a bit longer for tech12s just because.. |

Personally looking at the price range ur goin for then id buy the Numark TT-100's. But yeah if u can hold on then save for Technics but i guess that goes without saying. What i can say is dont buy gemini decks cuz in my experience they are .
Peace :D |

Dont get ANY Numark TT's... they are crap.. seriously
If you go for cheap TT's, they would have to be Gemini.
And i am guessing that if you dont like vinyl or later get out of it, it would be safer to go with cheaper decks. Only if you think you are gonna be DJ'ing fulltime or something, then get 1200's.
And on the issue of the SA-600 and XL-500, if you are into scratching, get the 600 for a few extra $$, but if not, get the XL-500 which has a bent arm and costs less. And if you can, get the PT-2100 cos they have a lot stronger motor than both of them. |
