Very small and intimate, this is happening downstairs (which i'm sure could hold 150 max.) I sugggest coming early - the room will fill up quick ;) |

Lazarus's Kiss100 set is what some might call psychedelic-house or horror-house (very progressive sounds).
Brilliant (but possibly very, very, scary - depending on the condition of one's mind at the time of listening). |

Progressive psy? Like J'00'F? :clown: |

Progressive? really?
Seems like an odd label for someone at the helm of Crosstown Rebels, which produces some of the sleaziest electronic music out today!
I think I'll check this out anyways...the location is perfect for me. |

When I say progressive - I mean progressive sounds, not necessarily "progressive" as some are familiar with.
His Kiss100 set is very complex layered sounds along with samples of screaming, odd industrial noises, breathing, etc. - just generally unexpected, forward thinking (progressive) arrangements.
I called it horror-house or psychedelic-house because from my interpretation it had a very dark (scary, horresque) undertone throughout the set - the complex "in and out", seemingly repeating layers of percussion/rhythm gave parts of the set a very psychedelic effect/feel to it.
It is brilliant. Lazarus is probably one of those few who "push" music into new, unexpored directions, inventing along the way. |

| I saw Damian Lazarus at DC10 in Ibiza. Very unique music- repititious at times but also really dark. |

Here is the link for one of Damian Lazarus's mixes. Click on mix #4 on right, then choose your language on the left (GB), enter your email to receive the newsletter (I have not received any spam), then download #4. I personally like his music, but you kind of have to be in the right mood. It is "dark", but can be funky/poppy at times. Perfect for DC10 in Ibiza but not appropriate for everywhere.

Um yeah i'd definately say i'm gonna be there no matter how small the venue is. C'mon, dark, evil, blood curdling beats. thats just how I like em. There aint no thang I like more than a twisted evil beat. Bring it... See ya all there.
