Godskitchen was of the hook
I don't think any of u guys went, but if there is a fortunate soul pls let me know what u thoughts on the nite were.
So,the nite was of the hook class A1 -1 thanks to judge yo'raps jools (i dunno,i did'nt bother with his set just in case he decided to dive from the dj box to suplex me into the chill out room. emmmh, no i dunno the guy personally and i dont have beef with him, but he seems the violent type to what i heard, anyways what was that 2kg rope gold chain all about??? has he changed from bbc radio 1 to mtv yo'raps, if so, poor hip hop masses your in for a (mis)-treat.
the others, well 1 by 1, tiesto, tall paul & john'00' were dark sets every track ripping through speakers and crowd like an iron through butter. Fergie to my surprise was good as well. I have only seen him play once before for three hrs at a hotdog hardhouse gig, and pls no abuse it was sheit, than again different crowd requirements different track selection.Im sorry to say i didnt see or better hear much of mr soto and mr gibson but im sure they did there best as well, as for the man one and only MAURO PICOTTO, what can i say, his set was last and believe me the last hour blew the roof rite of the hall onto the donington race track. Im convinced i made the most noise and stomped the hardest even drawing concern over my physical well being of a nice lady nearby (thanks and Im still alive). Picotto rules and only hard hard hard evidence will convince otherwise.
ohhhh, another thing if anybody here went, was security from godskitchen or donington track security. well, it was a total joke and thanks to the guys with the yellow t-shirts for assuring not a minute wasted on queing and a well stocked supply of well u know what, CHEERS. |

FLy you shoulda come seen him when he waws in town at Gk's 4th. He wasn't at his best I don't think but he totally made the night for me. Just seeing that cheeky smile as he decided to use CDs was pure magic, he mixed it well n all.
Still Signum definately stole the night for me but hey I ain't seen nothing yet, someone send me to Crasher!
Oh yeah, security was e at the Sanctuary as well, the metal dectector thing went off and they just told me to walk on through, a funny moment to start off my clubbing career i thought

kinuvan, me thinks me can quite safely say that as soon as you've experienced Gatecrasher, you'll never wanna go anywhere else.
The only other club that slightly tickles my fancy, is Gods Kitchen, but so far, i havnt seen a line up good enuff to tempt me away from the legend that is S1 1DJ |
