Spinnin it the dark.

| For some odd reason, i like spinning in the dark. The only light in my room is from my monitor, CD players, and turntable. I perform better (only god knows why), and am just more relaxed and chilled. i suppose cause bein in the dark with a few lights and chill tunes can set that kind of atmosphere. Anyone else like spinning in the dark rather than light? |

But I like to spin anywhere :p
In Josh:/Digital's basement we would turn off all the lighs an put on the disco lights, black lights, and fog machine, i think?

| I like mixing in the morning (7 o'clock ish) in the light. In the evening I mix with just these blue LED lights on, it makes the platter look different :D |

| i like to spin in darkness, but... i like to have some source of light under my table (small lamp or sth), it gives me some light but not too much |

i don't like spinning in the dark. i hate fumbling around the mixer.
i need ateast a good black light, to rock it proper.
plus, i'm a hardcore pitch rider. i never touch the platter, turn the spindle or handle the record. even w/m5g's back lit pitch slider it's difficult to pitch ride in the dark when you can't see (only aproximate) where the slider is in relation to the numbers. kicking the slider back and fourth, and trying to keep the beatmatching tight is a nightmare w/out adequate lighting. it reminds me of me of my old belt drive days when i would spend more time riding the pitch than actually mixing. |

| When I'm mixing at home, I keep the lights on, but when I'm mixing live, I prefer being poorly lit over being spotlighted. :D |
