criticism:
The kick's a little too hard for this particular track.
The first transition after the first minute is a bit excessive.
...so's the second one.
The ending is a little too quick
praise:
Love the main idea and synths.
Except for the bass kick, it's nicely mixed.
The piano is awesome, except for the fact that it gets owned by the bass.
Nice buildup.

Have you considered all the inversions of your 3 note melody. You either begin with the highest pitch and go down or lowest pitch and go up. Consider starting with the 2nd pitch to develop this motive.
@ 320 the main instrument is too dry for my tastes. reverb or delay would be sweet.
The higher frequencies may be a little overpowering throughout the mix. I enjoyed my listen but was hoping for more suprises. |
