LOL - we both have the same website name layout.
I can't see anything on your site (I'm using avant)
still waiting for the dl...Done!
I'll review you roughly the way you reviewed me I guess...
0:00-0:15 - Not too crazy about the beginning; it sounds a little bit too plain. Maybe a bass sound should start there.
0:15-1:20 - Love the mood, it's very laid back and reminds me of the beach...or dolphins. The clap doesn't really fit too well though.
1:20-1:30 - Wheeeeee!
1:30-4:10 - Nice mood here too, it works well with the simplicity. The piano starts wandering a little too much; I forget what the main melody sounds like
4:10 5:10 - Love the piano that comes in here, but it comes in a little too strong. I also like how it sounds kind of jazzy.
5:10 - The flute/sine wave/whatever that is doesn't really stand alone too well
5:10-6:02 - after hearing piano and modest synths, I think the synthy exit has a kind of smothering effect which doesn't really work with this kind of tune
overall: nice laid back track; a bit simple, but in a good way |

A very happy happy beginning. Whaow this is way too happy for me. I feel like skipping through flower beds... :wtf: not really my style of music
some nice elements. Love the oriental pitchshifting.
1:20 nice piano work.
nice deep bass...
An all round good production.
3:00 sweet warm pads
3:40 damn. You've made me smile. This is one of the most uplifting tunes Ive ever heard. There maybe a little kid market for this?
5:00 again nice piano work.
Great work mate. |

+1
The bassline indeed sounds deep, but I don't like the sequence of it, sounds a bit ... boring.
I like those pianos, and the portamento applied to them are quite nice, reminds me of ATB's Guitar Portamento sounds.
The whole track is too plain, the claps used here are really cheap, try adding some effects to it, maybe some Distortion and a phaser.
This song with better background work, would make a great track for a videogame, this reminds me of the music of Sim City 4... with labels out there dedicated to game sound tracks shouldn't be hard to find one for this composition of yours, and hence I'm not laughing at you here.
But I could harly call this progressive trance, sry mate, but it lacks of a lot of basics to be considered progressive trance.
Overall is an average track in need of a lot of improvement. |

Thanks for the comments and suggestions!
My friends have also mentioned that my music would work well in video games. Let me know if you know of any websites or companies that cater to that type of music.
I agree with comments of the "plainness" of this track. Most of my tracks are often to busy and move from one idea from another too quickly. I tried to take my time om this one. I'll post a new track later this week in a different style. |
