People are always bashing Tiesto, Armin, and other bigger DJ's, they're blind to the music. Face it, those who do this are those who dont want to jump on the popularity bandwagon because the more popular an artist is, the more people who heard that artist, therefore, the more people will critize your artist, which people are afraid of.
A good example is when people say Tiesto, people say: "ew"
Then when people say Gouryella, people say: "thats amazing!"
Just something to bring to the forefront. |

Seriously, the concept of bandwagons sucks ass, coz the second you form your own opinion independantly, and it happens to be the same as many others, you've just joined a bandwagon
The bigger djs get stick simply because they don't warrant all the fuss made over them, and most only spin stuff on their own labels anyways
all about the cha-ching |

i dont understand why ppl hate the big djs though sometimes.
is it the money? the fame? oh u say EDM suppose to be underground, and they are in it up for other ppl cz its becoming mainstream?
i dont care about the money or the fame, but if these two factors mess up the artistic side of a dj, then ok.
but u cant prove that money and fame really messed up tiesto (if you think tiesto is messing up since 2001 and on).
people just dont change because of money and fame, taste changes. |

| Because big DJs tend to be arrogant, and tend to be over-rated, because there are many, many more talented people out there who don't get recognition, and don't act like Jesus. |

| it's very simple: many big dj's are hardly much better than the average unknown amateur. yet they're incredibly hyped and given incredible attention. therefore many people bash that hype. |
