Can't beileve I haven't seen this thread started. What an AMAZING night it was. Someone was outside handing out reduced flyers, so instead of 35 at the door, we paid 20. Got in, decent size crowd. The DJ warming up the night was amazing. Heard alot of techish house and trance. The opening band was also amazing. I'm not exactly sure who it was, but they were playing instruments which were completly digital.
But lcd soundsystem is what I cam for, and they did not dissapoint. They played for an hour or so and let me tell you, I was blown away. They're just as good live as they are on the CD. Heard all the big songs and a few new ones I didn't recognize. They had a great vibe and everyone seemed to be having an aswome time. It's a shame I didn't see too many TA's, I guess they're not as known as well as they should be.
Anyways not a huge/compelete review, but I had an overall great time and was definately a really cool event worth checking out. |
