Hi mates, by petition of the original composer I had to remove the links to my mp3 remix of winter in the other post, so I apologize for that.
In this case I got clear permission from Dj Eco to reveal my Dark Remix of his track "Raindrops", which will be released by Monoceros Records next year, you can also hear the original by visiting:

18 megs. she is a biggy.
Im listening to the original as this is downloading. Interesting tune. I thought it would be break beats all the way through, but it progresses into sweet prog trance track with a thick bass drum.
now for your tune:
0:40 percs are great. +1 with the bass drum selection.
1:10 whaow. this is very different. A sense a space is acheived with the reverb selection.
1:50 Maybe a bit cluttered.
2:00 sweet progression.
2:17 the frequencies are too harsh. A new layer is very distorted/noisey. Great drive.
3:16 great layering. love the fx.
3:48 sweet. nice progression
4.33 the pads are are chaotic, dark & menacing. Is this what you were aiming for?
4:55 intense :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: awesome crescendo.
This track is overly packed with sounds. I am lost through parts as there is too many sounds clashing. Maybe some mastering will help.
It's an epic track. I found it hard to even relate it to the original. There are so many new elements added that you have overrun the track with your own style & have really made it your own. The layout is excellent. It's a bit noisy in parts, but im sure a bit of mastering will help that out. Love the effort & all the elements you have added. great work mate.

Yeah mate, Dark & Menacing is what I was aming for, but I'm also aiming for improvement so I will take some notes here, thanks pal.
