question to the CORe:

at what point it is ok to cross the boundaries of friendship and fool around sexually?

is it possible to then go back to just being friends??

GUY/GIRL GIRL/GIRL GUY/GUY

I have a feeling there would be different answers for all 3

I can personally speak on behalf of 2 of these parings.....

Discuss please

Impossible to go back as friends as you were before. If not, there would be pretty much no sacrifice for the sex.

Life is give and take. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

It's not impossible - but - both people have to be mature and on the exact same wavelength - and that's hard to find. I've been in this situation a few times and none of them ever turned ugly - maybe I'm lucky - or just honest from the get-go so there is no confusion after the fact.

Straight up - if there is attraction between a guy and a girl (or whatever pairing you want) then there will always be the desire/curiousity to fool around. Friendship will only stay as friendship if there is no attraction - otherwise it will always be a game tip-toe-ing the boundary - whether it be flirting or going beyond that.

As an aside, it's always funny to hear girls talk about certain guys who they refer to as 'friends' and being 'so nice' meanwhile you can tell a mile away that he just wants to get in her pants. lol.

love your answer Del.....

you understand the complexities and are lucky for it!

honesty and open dialogue can produce relationships of profound intensities and experiences.

friendships and relationships should be limitless period

IMO

it is so much fun finding each other in ourselves.

of course you can have both!

in this case tho....

sex shouldn't be a sacrifice - but a tool for connection.

bonding/securing/solidifying trust and love for another as friends of a different level - yet not partners.

It is so amazing when you can achieve this.

It truly is....

I think at the point in which you are both open to the idea of getting sexual, its all good. if one person developes feelings and one doesnt, thats when problems come up..

Ive had freinds that ive gotten sexual with then went back being literally just freinds..

all depends on the circumstances

But you're sooooo nice swampy!!!!!!! :stongue: jk lol

It's true about the one person who develops feelings. They usually mess up the friendship. I don't see anything wrong with fooling around with friends (of course not all of them) and i'm speaking about 2 of those pairs.
