well the nite started off real tly, after gettin off work a good 3 hours late. which leftme scramblingto get up to davids place, as we had advanced tickets, which ment line by pass untill 11 pm, but that didn't work. so as we were talking up in line see sum friend,s got pulled into the VIP line, and in we went.

Riker did a Great opening set. it was hard and dirty,
Young came on and just tore up the place, had the beats pumping till 5am, then the music lagged for a bit, by that time i'd finnally found my BF who was close to K'ing out. so we had to go, 2nd weekend in a row. oh to be young again.

lol actually ran in to a TOTA Brian, was nice to meet u, and your BF. welcome from MTL

pics will come when i get around to seeing if they'd come out

Hmm I had no idea anyone was going...I was planning to go but my date cancelled on me so I had to settle for DJ-Dan at boa :)

Tracy young was great! The crowd was loving it right from the start! Left around 5 when the music started to slow down and get a little dark, but was a great night out!

Nice running into Halycon! When i saw the flags i was sure it was you! :)

fly has a guest list but it's pretty exclusive...they aren't like boa or system where anyone can mail in and get on the list...you have to know certain people to get on...i used to practically live at the place every saturday and knew staff and management and still never got on the list:whip:

best bet is to just go early and have a few drinks in the lower lounge until the upstairs opens....

young is touch and go for me, some nites shes on fire, other nites i want my money back.

as for 'guestlists' lol, it's wether or not the door people know you. i've been on and off it for a while. lol, depends on how i stand with the security. since i've currently been off it since may, it's meant some line waits
torontobarfly
i usually knew the guy at the door and walked right in past the regular line but as far as being on the actual list and getting reduced or free cover only a select few enjoy that privilege...

I'm itching for a good night at Fly...hopefully another decent DJ is booked sometime soon...what a great venue.

I used to have indirect access to guestlist through a friend and former employee of Fly. Guestlist for their saturday nights seems to always have been rather exclusive (what a true guestlist SHOULD be).
